I have been meaning to drop you a card for weeks. You tutored my daughter Emma, then a pupil at The Castle School, years ago, probably 2006, to help her with GCSE Maths. She passed successfully and after travelling around she worked as a Teaching Assistant teaching maths to Special Needs children. She found she had a flare for it and went on to train as a Primary School Teacher. She taught at Wellsprings School for 2 years and is now out in Hong Kong. She is teaching at Mount Kelly College, Hong Kong and was made subject lead in Maths this year. You brought maths to life for her and she really enjoyed the subject after your tutoring. Who would have thought she would have gone on to be subject lead. Many many thanks for your input.

I have been meaning to email you for weeks, but never seem to be at a computer when I think of it! I’m sorry to have been so remiss in letting you know that Alice passed her Maths GCSE with a C in the summer. I think the help that you and your colleagues gave her in those few lessons she came to you for was absolutely invaluable and both she and I are very grateful for the clear, concise and patient guidance you provided.
